Government hikes windfall gains tax on crude, diesel and ATF

The government on Saturday revised windfall gains tax with the Centre adjusting its Special Additional Excise Duty (SAED) on crude petroleum by Rs 3,150 per tonne, diesel and air turbine fuel (ATF) by Rs 2.5 per litre each.
