Tax changes to boost FY23 tax mop-up by Rs 1.35 lakh crore over Budget target

According to a new report, thanks to new measures by the government, India is set to rake in Rs 1.35 lakh crore extra for FY23. Current estimates had pegged overall tax collection at Rs 19.35 lakh crore.
