Burden of fuel excise cut entirely on Centre, says FM Nirmala Sitharaman

Some opposition leaders including former finance minister P Chidambaram alleged that the duty cuts would reduce the share of states in central taxes. However, Chidambaram on Sunday retracted his statement, saying the cut in the levies accrues to the central government alone.
