India issues 3.6 GW RE tenders in Sept; 25 GW solar added in 8 months

India floated over 3,628 MW of renewable energy tenders in September 2025, as solar capacity additions surpassed 25 GW in the first eight months. Total renewable capacity reached 242.6 GW, attracting USD 2,245 million in investments.
